To start, the pen you see in this picture is not the pen included. Rather, it is a cheap 20-cent pen. Also, there are no lines in the book for your guests to sign. Each page has a 4x6 cut out in the center to reveal an image that is a few pages behind it. Like I said, there are no lines for your guests to sign, they would have to sign in an empty space around the 4x6 cut out as if to leave a personal message. It looks good and would be great for scrap booking, but not as a guest sign-in book.
